The decals with a covercoat only are not durable enough for dinnerware.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eCovercoat + Flux:\u003c\/strong\u003e The flux is a thin layer of glass applied over the decals to protect it and create a glossy finish. Despite the thickness of the flux being paper thin, this finish will leave a slight raised edge wherever you will cut the decals. The softer the glaze on the ware the less obvious it will appear.
