Water Slide Transfer Overglaze Decals for Ceramic, Porcelain, Earthenware and Stoneware.
Firing between 1150-1200°F/ 565-650°C.
Once applied these decals need to be fired in a kiln. They cannot be fired in a home oven. These decals work best with light colored glazes or opaque white glass.
These decals can be used on glass and enamel that can be fired at 1050 to 1200°F (565 to 650 °F). These decals are fairly transparent and will work best on opaque white base. We cannot print white with the digital process and the white will be transparent.
Digital Decal Details
- Best suited for photographic type images
- Order minimum 1 sheet
- Printable area is 10.5"x16" or 26,6x40,6cm
- Digital decals are only printed with cyan, magenta or red, yellow, and black mineral pigments. For white or metallic colors you would need to print silkscreen decals.
We used the Red Palette with a Covercoat + Flux:
- Red Palette which is composed of a Cyan, Bright Red, Bright Yellow and Black. This set is best for illustrations and logos and when a fire truck red or a warm yellow is needed. It does not offer any pink and purple which will turn red and blue.
- Covercoat + Flux: The flux is a thin layer of glass applied over the decals to protect it and create a glossy finish. Despite the thickness of the flux being paper thin, this finish will leave a slight raised edge wherever you will cut the decals. The softer the glaze on the ware the less obvious it will appear. If you need flux, we usually recommend a full coverage of the ware, or you can also cut the decal close to the edge of the image. We recommend using flux with any outdoor products or dinnerware.

GLASS ARTISTS:

These low fire temperature decals can be used on glass without slumping or melting. They are ideal for use on glass drinkware or tableware as they will not alter the form and shape of the piece. The can also used on glass that has already been slumped or kiln-formed without altering the shape or form of the piece.
Once applied, these decals need to be fired in a kiln to 1150-1200°F/ 620-650°C.

ENAMEL ARTISTS:
- Depending on the type of enamel, these decals should be fired in single (thick copper enamel and enamel on steel) or two step process (very thin enamel on copper like watch dials). The final firing should be between 1150-1200°F/ 620-650°C.

PROCESSING TIME
Once your file is approved for printing, your decals will ship in 5-7 days.
Stock orders ship within 2-3 business days after the day your order was placed.
Custom silkscreen prints are usually processed within 5-7 business days after the day your order was placed.
Custom digital prints are usually processed within 12 business days after the day your order was placed.
